Activities of RRC

RRC of Thiru kolanjiappar Govt.Arts college plays a vital role in creating awareness about AIDS among students. This year RRC program officers Mrs.k.Valarmathi and Mrs.Ananda Kanaga Jothi have organized an oath taking event on 13th December, 2020. 300 Students have participated and our principal presided over the event.

RRC: 2020-21:

Inspite of the pandemic RRC is keen on working towards a AIDS free nation. As a means to make people and students realize the horrors of AIDS and to spread awareness among them Tamilnadu AIDS Control Society conducted a national level quiz program on 30th December, 2020.349students of our college have participated in that quiz and received participation certificate.

·                    Combined annual training camp held at Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram during 18-09-2015 to 28-09-2015. 10 cadets participated in this event.

·                    Annual training camp-Cum-Republic camp, held at Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram during 17-06-2015 to 26-06-2015. 08 cadets participated in this event.

·                    Inter group competition-CUM-RDC training camp held at Pondichery during 15-09-2016 to 24-09-2016.

·                    Thala sainic camp, held at Nagarkoil during 13-07-2016 to 22-07-2016.

·                    Inter group competition, held at nagarkoil, during 13-07-2016 to 22-07-2016.

·                    Campus cleaning on August 15^th and January 26^th in connection with Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations.

·                    NCC cadets regularly participated in parades organized by the Government during important days.

·                    Regular periodic parades are organized in the college. 

·                    Flag hoisting ceremony is celebrated for Independence Day (August 15^th) and Republic Day (January 26^th) every year.

(2016-2017)

·                    Army attachment camp, held at Hyderabad during 01-02-2017 to 15-02-2017.

·                    Combined annual training camp-Cum-RDC Selection, held at Cuddalore, during 05-09-2017 to 14-09-2017. 10 cadets participated in this event.

·                    Thala sainic camp, held at Puduchery during 07-07-2017 to 16-07-2017. 9 cadets participated in this event.

·                    Campus cleaning on August 15^th and January 26^th, 2017 in connection with Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations.

·                    National saving certificate camp, held at Pudhuchery, during 26-08-2018 to 04-08-2018. 12 cadets have participated.
